Airflow Containment
In many facilities, effective airflow control also includes walls, doors, and ceilings. With a curated inventory of high-quality airflow containment equipment, Parameter helps operators tailor their environments to achieve optimal airflow.
Since every facility has different needs, Parameter’s airflow containment products are custom-sized and manufactured according to your unique specifications.

Rigid Doors
Prevent hot and cold air from recirculating by sealing off the end of an aisle. Doors can be customized and manufactured specifically for your facility.
Use Case Details:
- Available as standard hinge doors, double or single doors, auto or manual close sliding doors, or pivot swinging doors.
- Custom manufactured for each installation to ensure easy operation and an airtight fit.

Rigid Walls
Isolate hot and cold air, eliminate hot spots, and return only the hottest air to CRAC systems to reduce set points.
Use Case Details:
- Mount above cabinets to enclose space between cabinets and the ceiling.
- Mount on the floor to fill gaps between cabinets and between cabinets and walls
- Use expandable rigid walls to fill variable width gaps in facilities with shifting layouts.

Ceilings
Prevent hot and cold air from mixing while operating under fire suppression systems for cold row containment.
Use Case Details:
- Shrink-away ceilings are heat activated at 165℉ to shrink and drop away so that fire suppression systems can operate as needed.
- Heat-activated mechanical ceilings can be customized to either raise or drop and link directly to fire suppression systems.

Soft Containment
Isolate hot and cold air, eliminate hot spots, and return only the hottest air to CRAC systems to reduce set points, prevent downtime, and maximize equipment longevity.
Use Case Details:
- Use thermal wall curtains to create full-length walls and fill spaces between the tops of cabinet walls and ceilings.
- Use thermal strip doors to fill spaces between contained areas.

Grommets
Foam floor grommets plug holes in raised floor environments to accomplish 50% less airflow loss. Available in multiple shapes and sizes, the split integral design of Triad grommets facilitates quick and easy insertion.
All models are flame-rated to ensure compliance with facility safety standards.
