DCM6-L-IECEx is an IECEx-compliant Data Collection Module purpose-built for monitoring battery systems installed in hazardous (Zone 1) environments. The module is intended for use as part of the Cellwatch Battery Monitoring System and Cellwatch Frontier Battery Monitoring System, providing voltage, ohmic, and temperature measurements while meeting explosion
protection requirements for hydrogen and other IIC gas groups.

The DCM6-L-IECEx is intended for use in battery monitoring applications where equipment must be installed within hazardous locations, including:

  • Battery systems located in Zone 1 or Zone 2 hazardous environments.
  • Facilities requiring IECEx / ATEX / UKEX compliance.
  • Applications involving hydrogen or equivalent IIC gas group environments.
