Monitor. Detect. Resolve.
Environmental conditions can change in seconds, and the sooner you know, the faster you can respond. Temperature variations, humidity spikes, airflow loss, pressure changes, CO₂ buildup, and water ingress can quietly erode performance, cause compliance issues, or trigger costly downtime.
Parameter Environmental Monitoring systems provide a comprehensive, real-time view of these critical factors. Whether protecting a single server rack, multiple data halls, or monitoring a multi-building campus, our solutions deliver accurate, actionable data directly to your building and network management systems. You don’t need a cloud subscription or a new software stack to use Parameter. Everything runs locally on the integrated web server, with complete visibility control and interoperability built in.

Product Specifications & Components
The following section outlines the components that make up Parameter’s Environmental Monitoring system. Together, these elements form a modular architecture that supports a wide range of facility types, layouts, and integration requirements.
Monitoring Architecture
Parameter controllers act as the central hub of your monitoring system, gathering sensor data, enforcing custom thresholds, triggering alarms, and communicating with your BMS using open protocols like BACnet/IP, MS/TP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and SNMP v1/v2c/v3. They integrate environmental data such as temperature, humidity, airflow, leak detection, CO₂, smoke, power loss, and other facility parameters to provide unified visibility and responsive control.
Facilities requiring wired integrations or dense I/O can deploy Parameter’s BMS-1WIRE, FMS and F200 controllers. These options support relay logic, universal inputs, and third-party systems, making them ideal for traditional infrastructure or hybrid setups.
Signal Transmissions
Wireless
Long-range, battery-powered, zero-network-touch sensors.
Our WiNG Series wireless sensors provide long-range, battery-powered monitoring for critical environmental conditions. Technicians can mount a WiNG wireless sensor in seconds, eliminating the need for cable pulls, conduit, and drilling.
Each sensor is optimized for multi-year performance, with up to 12 years of battery life, and securely transmits environmental data to the WiNG-MGR v2 or WiNG-RXT receiver. With a wireless transmission range of up to 600 feet and support for 250 sensors (expandable to 1,000 feet and 400 sensors with WiNG-RXT) per unit, a single system can often monitor an entire facility without requiring additional wiring or infrastructure.
Wi-Fi
Use your facility’s existing wireless network to connect sensors.
Our Wi-Fi sensor line combines Parameter’s proven environmental sensing technology with the native infrastructure of an existing wireless network. Ideal for facilities with comprehensive BMS management or cloud oversight, Wi-Fi sensors simplify monitoring by connecting directly to your facility’s network and leveraging the inherent range of an enterprise-distributed Wi-Fi access point ork (which can span miles and multiple campuses).
These sensors monitor critical parameters without the need for dedicated wireless gateways, reducing infrastructure cost and deployment time.
Wired
Fixed connections for dense I/O or legacy integrations.
If wired sensors are needed, our line of wired monitoring controllers (FMS, F200, BMS-1WIRE) offers complete operational oversight without relying on wireless communication. Ideal for high-security applications that must maintain a closed-loop system, our FMS controllers can connect dozens of wired sensors and provide a precise and consolidated monitoring system with no wireless transmission.
Controller Options
- WiNG-MGR v2: Dedicated wireless management with rapid deployment and flexible placement.
- FMS – Facility Monitoring System: Full-scale, high-density monitoring for complex sites.

WiNG Manager v2
For wireless deployments, WiNG-MGR v2 serves as the wireless gateway. It supports up to 250 wireless or Wi-Fi sensors, runs entirely on-premises with encrypted communications, and includes onboard data logging without requiring any software licenses or subscription fees.
Designed for quick deployment, WiNG-MGR v2 makes installations in live environments easier and integrates seamlessly with your native BMS. Once powered on, the WiNG-MGR v2 automatically discovers nearby WiNG sensors, which can be assigned names and locations, and begins logging data instantly.

FMS

The FMS is a rack-mount controller designed for high-density I/O and secure wired integration. It aggregates universal inputs, relay outputs, and signals from third-party equipment, then forwards that data via BACnet, Modbus, or SNMP for centralized monitoring.
With its ability to handle dozens of wired points, the FMS remains the preferred choice for sites that require the physical security of wired connections or need to integrate legacy equipment into modern BMS/NMS platforms.

F200

The F200 provides targeted environmental monitoring for small server rooms, network closets, and other contained spaces. Supporting multiple environmental inputs and one zone of leak detection, the F200 delivers the core capabilities of larger controllers in a compact, wall-mount form factor. It’s a cost-effective option for extending visibility into remote or ancillary spaces without over-deploying larger systems.

BMS-1WIRE

The BMS-1WIRE integrates up to eight 1-Wire environmental sensors directly into your building management system (BMS) network. This device enables facilities to leverage their existing 1-Wire sensor infrastructure while gaining the integration benefits of BACnet and Modbus compatibility, without requiring the deployment of a full-scale monitoring controller. Compact and panel-friendly, it’s ideal for integrating temperature, humidity, and other 1-Wire measurements into your centralized monitoring system.
Protocol Integration
For facilities with mixed protocol stacks or legacy gear, Parameter offers a dedicated protocol bridge to translate without replacing controllers.
For example, BACnet MS/TP ↔ BACnet IP or Modbus RTU ↔ Modbus TCP. Many facilities operate a mix of older controllers and newer BMS/NMS platforms, and this converter maintains compatibility without requiring costly rip-and-replace projects.

Two fully isolated RS-485 serial ports and one Ethernet port provide a secure, bi-directional pathway for data exchange between protocols. Built-in protocol mapping ensures points data from the legacy side are translated accurately for the IP side, and vice versa from both serial trunks and IP networks integrate harmoniously, maintaining complete visibility and control without disrupting operations.
