Description

The Thermal Runaway Controller (TRC) is the safety-focused controller within the Cellwatch Battery Monitoring system. It monitors for early signs of rapid temperature rise and can disconnect up to four strings to prevent a failure from escalating.

With 10 configurable relay outputs, the TRC integrates thermal safety directly into large-scale battery deployments. It works in concert with Control Units and the iBMU, adding a dedicated layer of protection for high-risk environments where battery reliability is non-negotiable.
