Tech Tip: Adjusting Analog Points on the Falcon (Falcon F-Series Gain/Offset Tip)

If you have a Falcon FMS or F-Series monitoring system that is not reading data correctly (e.g., temperature of humidity), you may want to adjust the displayed analog readings for temperature or humidity.

When you do adjust the reading, be sure to adjust only the Offset reading: Never change the Gain. The Gain acts as a scaler, so when it’s changed the readings will become exponentially inaccurate.

When you raise the Offset, the displayed or calculated reading is raised. When you lower the Offset, you lower the reading.
